An initiative designed to encourage healthy habits among young children to reduce future risks of non-communicable diseases.
At Sesame Workshop India, we believe that every child deserves the chance to grow smarter, stronger, and kinder. Since 2006, we have been creating joyful learning experiences that spark curiosity, build resilience, and empower young minds especially those who need it most.
Through the power of education, media, and research, we take learning beyond classrooms and into homes, communities, and everyday moments. Whether it’s navigating narrow lanes, training teachers in anganwadis, or equipping parents with playful tools, we ensure every child has access to the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Our programs have reached children across Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, and beyond, helping them understand foundational literacy, develop strong hygiene habits, and build critical early learning skills. We meet children wherever they are, ensuring that learning is not just accessible but also engaging, meaningful, and filled with play.
With funding from Abbott, Sesame Workshop has launched Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds, a multi-country initiative including in India. It adopts a holistic well-being and preventative approach to raise awareness on the importance of balanced nutrition, quality sleep and physical activity among children and key influencers in their life.

By expanding our reach, breaking down barriers, and bringing playful education into homes, classrooms, and communities, we’re ensuring that more children get the skills, confidence, and opportunities they deserve. Because when children learn, play, and grow, they don’t just change their own futures, but they help create a brighter, kinder world for everyone.
