The Banega Swasth India (BSI) initiative is a joyful and action-oriented program led by Sesame Workshop India Trust in partnership with Reckitt. Its aim is to promote hygiene, sanitation, and health awareness among young children, empowering them with essential health knowledge to build cleaner and healthier communities.
The Learn. Play. Grow initiative, designed for children aged 3 to 8 years, includes WASH as one of its fundamental thematic areas, alongside foundational literacy and numeracy, emotional well-being, and health and nutrition. This program aims to empower the early childhood education ecosystem by providing resources and training to teachers, caregivers, and communities.
The Meghalaya Health Systems Strengthening Project (MHSSP) incorporates WASH as a cross-cutting theme within its integrated Early Childhood Development (ECD) package. This package supports children from conception to 8 years of age and is designed for frontline workers, aiming to improve ECD outcomes in Meghalaya.
