Sometimes, even a small act of kindness can make someone feel cared for and loved.
What happens when we pause and try to understand how someone else is feeling?
Children’s emotional wellbeing is deeply shaped by the relationships they experience every day with their families, friends, and the world around them. In these early years, it is through simple, everyday interactions that children begin to understand feelings, build connections, and make sense of social situations.
As children learn to recognise how others feel, work together, and show kindness in small but meaningful ways, they begin to build the foundation for lifelong confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. These are not just skills for the moment, they shape how children relate to others and navigate the world as they grow.
However, in today’s increasingly structured and fast-paced environments, children often have fewer opportunities to naturally experience and practice these social and emotional skills. Moments of shared play, cooperation, and connection are becoming less frequent, even though they are essential to a child’s development.
Chhoti Badi Bhaavnaayein seeks to bring the focus back to these small, everyday moments because it is in these interactions that emotional wellbeing truly begins, and where the foundations for stronger, kinder communities are built.
